Dekoboko sugar days mou ikkai11/11/2023 ![]() It makes me so happy my heart feels so full right now.Īnd now I'm gonna go to the corner and cry my heart out. I am so in love with these characters and this story is just one of the most heartwarming and poignant ones I've read. friends, eventually they confessed their smoldering attraction to one another and began dating. Genres: Drama, Romance, School Life, Yaoi, Summary. They basically grew up to become such remarkable adults and you can really see how much potential the story goes as you read it. Other Title: Dekoboko Sugar Days (Mou Ikkai) Dekoboko Sugar Days (Mouikkai) Author: Yusen Atsuko. they're old enough you know they can handle themselves all on their own. It feels like you're part of their lives and you get to grow up with them and then when I was literally tearing up trying to hold my tears because the growth and development they have was so beautiful and touching you can't help but be proud of how far they have come. While volume 1 had you laughing like crazy for their silly antics and funny moments, this completely took those characters and made them into something more than what you expected. The best ever! I love how everything I thought was going to happen ended up being something more wonderful and absolutely beautiful. But as it turns out, Yuujirou's childhood dreams end up growing a little too big to handle or, rather, too tall At over six feet in height, the cheerful and happy-go-lucky Rui towers. Though this was ultimately disappointing for me, it was still nice to revisit these characters and see how they changed by the end of the story. Yuujirou Matsukaze has been close friends with Rui Hanamine since the two of them were children, and at that time, Yuujirou was the one who stood up for and took care of his adorable, soft-hearted friend. It’s still an enjoyable read overall, but “Bittersweet Days” just doesn’t reach the same heights as the original. With that being said, the art continues to be exceptionally cute, carrying the manga through its duller periods. Yuujirou’s behaviour, in particular, comes across as unnatural and forced the storytelling in these moments seems both lazy and uninspired. A lack of communication between the couple leads to a number of problems that feel completely avoidable. ways that the protagonists’ relationship could have developed as they navigated adulthood, but instead, the second half of the story is centered around an annoying, contrived conflict. I feel like there are a lot of interesting This is a very promising setup that I was excited to see the narrative explore, but it ended up falling rather flat. The first half of the manga consists of some really cute scenarios, while also presenting Yuujirou and Rui’s hopes and anxieties about how their relationship will progress in the future. Unfortunately, I don’t think that “Dekoboko Bittersweet Days” is as successful as its predecessor. In that story, BL tropes were executed perfectly, making for one of the most enjoyable reads I’ve experienced in the genre! And so begins this caricature and compelling story of these two young, sweet, and cute boys about "climbing the stairs to adulthood", also with the help of their incomparable friends, who seriously needs their own stories because they are so funny and witty! I also love how he official translations best captured and delivered lines and expressions with the most exaggerated and gratifying moments that bring out the scenes to its greatness. To me, the prequel manga “Dekoboko Sugar Days” was the complete package. did they know they actually liked each other. He has a height complex, and while Hana is taller, he is also very pretty. Yuu has been in love with his childhood friend Hana for a long time but he is on a bend. I'ma call our characters Yuu and Hana 'coz their names were too long. All the characters here are so funny, relatable, and sweet. 'I want to protect this little cutie', Yuujirou Matsukaze wished for that so hard, but that kid, Rui Hanamine, just continued to grow and grow and grow until Yuujirou. ![]() A sequel is titled Dekoboko Sugar Days (Mou Ikkai). Released in 2017, it has been published by LOVE xxx BOYS. I can't count the amount of times I laughed so hard at them being so silly and cute and just so innocently adorable. Dekoboko Sugar Days is an ongoing manga written and illustrated by Atsuko Yusen. I can't stress enough how perfect this was! One of the BEST stories I've ever read.
